Dyslexia-friendly editions, books that hold a reluctant reader, and clearly signposted themes, so you know what is in a book before it reaches a pupil. Tell us the year group, the topic and the range of reading ages in the room, and we will send back a list rather than a catalogue.

10 or more copies of any one title are 20% below the publisher's RRP. There is no minimum order value and no account fee. That covers class sets, book corners, library restocks, World Book Day, or one title for every child in the year.
We issue a pro-forma invoice and dispatch the books once it is paid.
How does a school order?
- Tell us what you need
The year group, the subject or theme, the reading ages in the room, and roughly how many copies.
- We send back a costed list
Chosen by us, with Spy Readers where a class needs the signposting, priced with your 20% already taken off.
- Approve it and we invoice
We issue a pro-forma invoice. Once it is paid, the books ship direct from our publishers to the school, anywhere in the United Kingdom.

What counts as a bulk order?
10 or more copies of any one title are 20% below the publisher's RRP. There is no minimum order value and no account fee.
How does a school pay?
We issue a pro-forma invoice, and your books are dispatched once it is paid. We do not currently offer 30-day credit accounts: as a small independent shop we are not yet able to carry the credit. If that is how your school usually buys, do get in touch and we will talk it through.
Do you deliver to schools across the United Kingdom?
Yes. We supply schools anywhere in the United Kingdom, shipped direct from our publishers to the school, and we post orders within 1 working day of the order being paid.
Can you supply books you don't list online?
Yes. The titles listed on this site are a curated selection of what we hold in the shop; for a school order we can source far more widely than that. Send us the list and we will price it up.
Can we order for World Book Day?
Yes. Tell us the date you need the books in school and we will work back from it. Get in touch early in the term — publishers run short on the popular titles closer to the day.
Who chooses the books?
We do, and for a class that needs the signposting we curate the list with Spy Readers, who match titles to year group, reading age and theme.
