Time for a change!
After two years of the same shopfront we've decided it's time for a repaint, and we've made a possibly reckless decision. We're not designing it ourselves. You are.

We've had our lovely little shop drawn up as a blank template, big beautiful bay window and all. There's a stack of them in the shop, or you can download one here.
Do absolutely whatever you like with it. Colour it in, paint straight over it, cover the lot in glitter (actually, maybe not glitter). The choice is entirely yours.
The design we love most gets painted onto the building. Not a mock-up, not a poster in the window, but the actual shopfront on the actual High Street, where it will live for years to come.
The prizes
£500
The winner walks away with £500 in Station Books vouchers, and a shopfront.

Two runners-up get £50 each in Station Books vouchers.
Every entry
Every single entry gets hung up in the shop while the competition runs, so it's going to look completely chaotic for a few weeks. We could not be happier about that.
Who can enter
Everyone! No age limit, no entry fee and absolutely no skill required. Some of our favourite things in this shop were drawn by people who are six.
Over the last 18 months we've met so many brilliant young readers in Tunbridge Wells, and we'd love to see what they make of the place.
Design it on a computer if that's your thing, digital tools are absolutely fine. The one rule is no AI. We want to see something you made yourself.

Entries close on Sunday 13 September.
Hand your design in at the counter, or post it to us at Station Books, 10 High Street, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 1UX.
Don't forget to pop your name and a contact number or email on the back.
