Under the reign of the Abbess, the Abbey of Saint Particular imprisons the mad – and therefore godless. Only once each year are the inmates set free for a day, on the drunken Feast of the Holy Fool. Idealistic Alberto is given the thankless task of returning them to the dungeons once the day is over, but soon starts to see that he could help the ‘fools’ and even learn from them.

- We announce each month's pick on the 15th. You then have until the 1st of the following month to log in and skip if it's not for you.
- Can I skip a month?
- Yes! Log in to your account to skip your next month's book.
- What if the book costs less than £19?
- We always make sure the box is worth at least £19. If the book comes in under that, we'll add a little goodie to make up the value.
- What if I've already read the book or really don't fancy it?
- Get in touch and we'll swap it for a voucher.
